India's chandrayan-3: A New Flight Into Space

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has successfully landed the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft on the Moon's south pole. Launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, the mission's rover, Pragyan, and lander, Vikram, have begun their scientific experiments on the lunar surface. This historic achievement makes India the first country to land near the lunar south pole and the fourth country overall to soft-land on the Moon. The data collected will help scientists understand the lunar soil, potential water-ice reserves, and the Moon's atmosphere.
